The Cost of "Free" in a Digital Age: A Guide for SMEs - Stephanie Webb, PMM Strategies Ltd

Eventbrite - Berkshire Means Business 2015

Stephanie Webb is a marketing strategy expert and founder of Reading-based PMM Strategies Ltd. She has previously served as a Brand & Design Manager for a US-based web design & marketing agency, as well as led the creative direction for a thriving, global SaaS startup in the UK. A member of the IDM and an associate member of the CIM, she also holds an MA International Marketing Communications and an MSc International Marketing Strategy. Having over a decade of design and marketing experience within the small business sector, Stephanie understands the struggles many small businesses face in developing, implementing and measuring their marketing efforts.

Much of today's marketing focus is on the digital environment. This online landscape provides many businesses with direct, instant access to their target audience for 'free' or for only a fraction of traditional marketing costs. However, while many of these channels involve little to no upfront monetary expenditure, a great deal of resource is still required to develop, maintain and evaluate the distributed content. With an aim to help SMEs understand the true costs of digital, this workshop will focus on the following:

Creating a digital strategy

Determining digital channels

Monetising resource costs

Allocating responsibility

Measuring for ROI
